We Live Here.

We represent the new, progressive and changing face of East Islip, a town steeped in tradition and pride. On the surface, these attributes seem honorable, but just underneath the surface is a bigoted and offensive history that must be exposed and faced.

It is time for change, East Islip, Islip Terrace and Great River. It is time for learning from history, a time for progress and embracing the future. For the benefit of our community and schools, we must discover what is holding us back, what is hurting us and what we need to do to break free from tradition and transcend history to forge a new way forward.

Long Island is changing. We can either pay attention to reality, embrace change and learn from our mistakes… or we can fight it. Ultimately, how our community responds to the challenges ahead can elevate our community and our children - or constrain us.
